The beach is a beautiful pebbles and sandy beach. The beach village has a cosy atmosphere and people is friendly. This is a really nice beach village to visit, if you don’t want too many tourists around.

Sougia beach village is located in south-west of Crete. You will find the naturist part of the beach in the eastern end.

On Sougia there are free camping, rooms for rent, restaurants, cafees & bars and supmarket.

Getting there
The beach village is 70 km south of Chania. It is an 2 hour drive through a beautiful mountains. It is also possible to get to the beach by the westbound boats from Hora Sfakia.
If you are staying at the naturist Hotel Vritomartis the fastest way to get there will be by boat.
